Be a Hospice Patient Care Volunteer.

Volunteers Needed - Patient and Caregiver Support:

Are you compassionate? Do you love sharing your time with people? We would love for you to share your outgoing personality with our hospice patients and families - you will be helping to provide emotional support to them. Read, play board or card games, sing, pray, or whatever you do best while listening and supporting our patients.

Patient care visits may occur in patient homes or in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, Gulfside's Rucki Hospice Center in Zephyrhills, or our in-patient unit at Heather Hill Healthcare in New Port Richey.

Training is provided. TB test, fingerprinting, and Level 2 background check are required and paid for by Gulfside Healthcare Services.
