Are you someone who loves playing with color palettes and fonts? We’d love to have you help us refresh the digital look of Massachusetts Interfaith Power & Light (MassIPL)! We’re getting ready to transition our website to Webflow, and we need a talented volunteer designer to recommend colors and fonts that will make our current brand kit feel more vibrant, fresh, and youthful, while still keeping some visual continuity.
What We Need:
We’re moving our current website to Webflow. We've purchased a template and are in the process of finding a developer to adjust it to our needs.
Color: First, we need some expert guidance on how to tweak the colors of our current brand kit (here)—which we think needs a refresh, as it is a bit heavy—more in line with the colors of the template. Can you help us keep our current color families (blues, yellows, greens) but make them feel more inviting? We want to keep the same color palette but with a lighter, fresher touch, while maintaining a cohesive and inviting feel.
Fonts: We also need to decide whether to keep the fonts from our current brand kit, or update them for 2025 to something contemporary, approachable, and aligned with our mission. If you have strong feelings about fonts, we want to talk to you! Help us choose fonts that are both modern and cohesive with the new color scheme.
What We Do:
We work with faith communities of all kinds—Christian, Jewish, Muslim, and beyond—helping congregations take action on climate justice. You don’t need to be religious to help us out! We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about design and believes in the power of making the world a better place.
You can work remotely on your schedule. We’d love to get this wrapped up in about 2-3 weeks. We’re a small team, fully remote, and we believe in collaboration, creativity, and making a real difference.
