The Marketing Strategist Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing Young Mothers Inc’s social media content strategy and leading overarching content themes for the organization. This role focuses on strategy, planning, and coordination across social media and broader marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy
Plan and strategize social media postings and stories for Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter
Develop content strategy in collaboration with Market Research & Content Strategist
Research trending topics, influencers, annual calendars, and national awareness days
Develop overall themes and content ideation for daily posts and stories
Apply affinity categories to content planning
Content Planning
Create and maintain the Social Media Content Calendar
Add themes and content ideas for posts and stories for each day of the week
Repurpose newsletter articles for social media posting (1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month)
Market Research & Content Strategy
Lead overarching content and themes for YMI across social media, email, web, and paid advertising
Requirements
Experience in marketing strategy or social media planning
Strong research and content planning skills
Ability to collaborate across teams
Organized and deadline-oriented
Able to commit a minimum of six hours per week remotely
