    Human Health Project (HHP) is a holistic health literacy charity. Our mission is to improve the health of the underserved and vulnerable through holistic information, education and advocacy.     We are looking for an HR Specialist to join our team and monitor all Human Resources functions. He/she will assist with daily operations of the HR department.

    To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of full cycle recruiting and solid knowledge of labor legislation.

    You will foster a healthy workplace by ensuring our HR procedures always run smoothly.

    Responsibilities

    • Supports HR activities and programs, such as staffing, training and safety.
    • Coordinates projects, training programs; including communications.
    • Participates in developing new policies, procedures, and programs.
    • Implement training and development plans.
    • Support the development, dissemination and presentation of security education materials that provide blended learning opportunities.
    • Assistance to create new training materials and videos as processes or policies change.
    • Onboard volunteers into the training system and willing to help answer questions.
    • Plan quarterly and annual performance review sessions.
    • Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions.
    • Forecast hiring needs and ensure the recruitment process runs smoothly.
    • Process volunteers’ queries and respond in a timely manner.
    • Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation.

    Requirements

    • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
    • Solid understanding of labor legislation
    • Familiarity with full cycle recruiting
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Good problem-solving abilities
    • Team management skills
