The Event Management Team (EMT) is crucial in executing the Des Moines Arts Festival. Our EMT volunteers work closely with staff leading up to the Festival and then manage their specific areas, including load-in, load-out, volunteers, problem solving, etc. Essentially they are the eyes and ears of the Festival ensuring everything runs smoothly and our guests and participants are having a superior experience.
The Event Management Team meets as a group on a monthly basis March-June. Individual committee meetings also take place leading up to the Festival.
