    Description

We coach activists to lead lawful, nonviolent civil resistance against Trump and his enablers.

Through strategic campaigns, toolkits, boycotts, and community organizing, we’re contributing to the movement to resist this authoritarian administration and begin rebuilding our democracy — and we’re going to win.

    Position Overview

We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Systems Administrator to help maintain and manage the digital tools that power our organizing and outreach. This role supports the technical backbone of the campaign by overseeing access, permissions, and configuration across key platforms such as email, link management, and other shared systems.

The Campaign Tech Administrator plays a critical behind-the-scenes role, ensuring our tools are secure, functional, and accessible to authorized volunteers and staff—so organizers can focus on winning campaigns rather than troubleshooting systems.

This role requires a weekly commitment of approximately five hours.

    Responsibilities

    • Administer and manage access to campaign platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, TinyURL, shared accounts)
    • Maintain account permissions and ensure appropriate access controls
    • Support onboarding and offboarding of volunteers and staff from digital tools
    • Monitor systems for issues related to access, security, or configuration
    • Document processes and best practices for internal use
    • Coordinate with campaign leadership and tech volunteers on tool needs and upgrades
    • Flag risks, gaps, or inefficiencies in current systems

    Ideal Candidate

    • Strong alignment with the mission and values of the #ResistTrump Campaign
    • Experience with digital tools, account administration, or basic systems management
    • High attention to detail and strong organizational habits
    • Comfortable working independently and responsibly
    • Understanding of digital security and access control fundamentals

    Must Be and Have

    • Trustworthy and discreet with sensitive credentials and data
    • Reliable and responsive to time-sensitive requests
    • Able to follow and improve documented processes
    • Comfortable asking questions and flagging concerns early

    What We Provide

    • Access to necessary campaign platforms and documentation
    • Support from campaign leadership and organizers
    • Clear scope, permissions, and escalation pathways

    Requirements

    • Three-month commitment
    • Willingness to sign our Code of Conduct

#ResistTrump is committed to lawful, nonviolent action. All volunteers must agree to signing our Code of Conduct which centers these principles in all of our work.
