    Description

    Grant Writing Volunteer (Virtual)

    The Grant Writing Volunteer will support Outdoor Life Leadership’s fundraising efforts by identifying funding opportunities and writing compelling grant proposals. This role is key to securing financial resources that sustain our programs and events.

    (This is a volunteer opportunity. We do not provide stipends for this opportunity. Please do not send an email asking for a stipend.)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Research grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government sources.
    • Write, edit, and submit grant proposals, ensuring alignment with funder requirements.
    • Track grant application deadlines, submissions, and outcomes.
    • Collaborate with the Finance and Program teams to gather necessary information for proposals.
    • Assist in writing reports for awarded grants to showcase impact and maintain relationships with funders.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in grant writing or nonprofit fundraising.
    • Strong research, writing, and editing skills.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
    • Understanding of Outdoor Life Leadership's mission and programs is a plus.
