    Overview:

    We’re looking for a doer and a builder. You’ll help manage and coordinate the full volunteer volunteer support function-from intake to setup to compliance. You’ll guide team members, troubleshoot issues, and build smooth systems that make every volunteer feel equipped and engaged.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Receive and route volunteer applications
    • Oversee intake, placement, and onboarding steps
    • Manage the onboarding and exit support volunteer
    • Ensure compliance with HR documents (agreements, waivers, etc.)
    • Manage background screenings (where applicable)
    • Collaborate with the President on HR strategy
    • Track volunteer flow, gaps, and retention
    • Provide leadership to help HR run smoothly

    You’re Great At:

    • Managing systems and people with care
    • Seeing the big picture and executing the details
    • Following and building procedures
    • Communicating clearly with cross-functional teams
    • Working independently with accountability

    Bonus if you:

    • Have experience in nonprofit volunteer services , HR or People Ops
    • Are familiar with Google Workspace, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Airtable, or HR tools
    • Can create or adapt onboarding documents
