Spanish fluency is helpful but not required, though all students are Spanish-speaking.

    Responsibilities:

    • Teach English as a Second Language (ESL) concepts
    • Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials
    • Lead classes in either an in-person or virtual setting
    • Support students in understanding and applying concepts
    • Encourage student engagement and confidence in learning
    • Collaborate with CREA staff to track student progress

    Qualifications:

    • Currently in college or a college graduate
    • Responsible, reliable, and committed to helping the community
    • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude toward adult learners
    • Spanish fluency is helpful but not required

    Time Commitment:

Volunteers are asked to commit to one class per week for a minimum of one semester.
