About the Program
Gain international experience with Pro-Passion Projects – Ghana through a Pre-Medical and Public Health Volunteer Abroad program. This program is designed for aspiring healthcare professionals who want to support healthcare initiatives and experience community health projects in urban and rural Ghana.
Volunteer Responsibilities
- Observe doctors, nurses, and public health officers in hospitals and clinics (strictly observational).
- Participate in community health outreach programs organized by our partner clinics, including malaria screenings, blood pressure checks, and health education.
- Support public health initiatives on hygiene, nutrition, maternal and child health, and disease prevention.
- Engage in cultural exchange and community development activities.
Qualifications
- Open to pre-med, medical, nursing, and public health students or recent graduates.
- Passion for healthcare, volunteering, and cross-cultural learning.
- Good communication skills, adaptability, and respect for diverse communities.
- No prior medical experience required; supervision and guidance are provided.

Program Details
- Location: Accra and partner project sites across Ghana
- Duration: Flexible – 2 to 12 weeks, year-round
