Community Action Partnership of Ramsey and Washington Counties is seeking a Board Treasurer to join our Board of Directors. This individual will serve as the Treasurer of the Board, providing leadership and fiscal governance.

Preferred experience includes knowledge of nonprofit financial management principles, property and asset management, and risk mitigation strategies. These skillsets are not required but are strongly preferred as we seek to round out the expertise of our Board and strengthen our long-term sustainability.

This member will represent the private sector — such as business, education, faith, labor, or human services — and help shape policies and programs that strengthen families and communities in Ramsey and Washington Counties.

    Expectations

    • Attend monthly board meetings and participate in committee work (approximately 4–6 hours per month, 10 months per year, mostly weekday evenings).
    • Serve on the Executive Committee and Finance Committee, and attend retreats, orientations, and trainings.
    • Serve as Chair of the Finance Committee and provide oversight of the Agency’s financial records, reporting, and audits, ensuring compliance with Board bylaws and CAPRW funding sources.
    • Contribute to governance, strategic planning, and advocate for the mission, bringing your professional perspective to board discussions.

    Term of Service

Two-year term, renewable up to three terms (maximum six years).
