    Description

Social Media Assistant Coordinator (US only)

The National STEM Society, designs, develops, and delivers the most delightful entertaining educational experiences imaginable. Our Administration teams support our national projects by providing the resources, tools, and information needed to create extraordinary SPARK STEM experiences. We believe in educating, initiating, and innovating young lives today for tomorrow's social response to increasing statistics for girls and women in STEM careers and fields.

Safety first, people inclusivity, innovation, and creativity are core values of our nonprofit organization, and why these core values exist in everything we do.

Volunteers with creative minds, social media tech savvy, and willingness to perform administrative support activities are always needed to help our team members at every step in the creative process to expand existing programs and develop new innovative opportunities.

We need a tech savvy social media assistant/coordinator eager to support revamping our Instagram platform and help create an inspiring TikTok with the National STEM Society's Creative Director.

What you will do? Collaborate with the Creative Director on an existing social media strategy plan for 2025-2026 engagements. Perform research activities for related social media posts. Engage in activities to support changes to the existing Instagram page structure.

Before volunteer placement, all volunteers will complete a volunteer application, a participation waiver form with parent acknowledgment if the volunteer is under age 17, a code of conduct and criminal background check through NCSI, and an internal technology use form.
