Every Sunday Norwood Crossing holds church service from 9:45 to 11:15 AM and 1:30 to 3:15 PM. It is a non-denominational Christian service. Volunteers will help set-up and transport residents from their room to the service.
Residents sing hymns, pray, and listen to readings.
Holy Communion is on the first Sunday of the month.
Impact:
Many volunteers and residents form friendships which enhance the lives of both but most of all you would be helping by enriching the lives our our residents.

Norwood Crossing Volunteer Covid Policy
All volunteers must meet one of the following criteria:
1 - Fully vaccinated/up-to-date on all COVID-19 boosters
2 - Vaccinated but not fully up-to-date on all boosters
3 - Medical or religious exemption
Volunteers who have been on a floor where they has been a COVID outbreak will need to complete mandatory testing. Testing on site is recommended. At home tests or testing from a testing site are also permitted but we will need a copy of test results. If testing from home a picture of the test with your name and date will need to be provided.
Vaccine cards, exemption or medical contraction paperwork, and all CMS training certificates need to be turned in to the Director of Volunteer Services before any volunteer begins their volunteer role at Norwood Crossing.
Volunteers should not come in to volunteer if they are symptomatic.
