    🌟 Urgent Need! Volunteer at the ACDCA Holiday Outreach & Wellness Fair!

    A Child's Dream-CA, in partnership with the City of Culver City, Baby2Baby, and other "forever partners," is hosting our largest-ever Holiday Outreach & Wellness Fair, and we are in urgent need of dedicated volunteers to help us serve hundreds of local families! Due to the overwhelming demand, this event has expanded and relocated to the spacious Veterans Memorial Auditorium.

    Your time and positive energy will directly help bring joy, toys, and essential resources to families facing economic hardship this holiday season.

    Event Details & Commitment

    Date: Saturday, December 20, 2025

    Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM (General Event Time)

    Location: Veterans Memorial Auditorium @ Veterans Memorial Park, 4117 South Overland Avenue, Culver City, CA 90230

    Commitment : Shifts are generally between 7:30 AM and 3:00 PM. Please commit to your assigned shift from start to finish.

    Registration: Required! All volunteers must register via Eventbrite to receive specific shift assignments and detailed instructions.

    Your Impact: What You'll Be Doing

    This is a fast-paced, high-impact day focused entirely on service. Roles include:

    • Resource Distribution: Helping organize and hand out essential items like toys, hygiene products, snacks, and blankets.
    • Resource Fair Support: Guiding families to community resource vendors and answering general questions.
    • Community Engagement: Interacting directly with families, sharing smiles, and offering support to create a positive experience.
    • Event Setup/Breakdown: Assisting the team with setting up tables, chairs, and materials, and cleaning up afterward.

    Important Volunteer Guidelines

    • Be On Time: Please arrive promptly for the 10:00 AM Welcome Meeting with Founder, Cassandra Sampson, to get essential event details and assignments. Please plan to arrive early to find parking.
    • Attitude & Teamwork: This is a dynamic environment. We ask for your patience, positive attitude, and respect toward all families and fellow team members. A smile and clear communication are key!
    • Dress Code: Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and clothes for long periods of standing. Festive holiday colors or hats are encouraged, but optional!
    • Focus on Service: Our primary mission is to serve the families in need. No special consideration for toy distribution will be given to volunteers.

    Special Note for Teen Volunteers (Ages 16-17)
