Volunteer Systems Training Lead – Asana (Virtual)

The Volunteer Systems Training Lead – Asana volunteer trains new and active volunteers on how to use Asana, our main project management platform. You’ll help volunteers learn how to track tasks, manage communication, and stay organized across departments.

Responsibilities

• Teach volunteers the basics of using Asana for task tracking, communication, and project setup.
• Create short training guides, screen recordings, or cheat sheets.
• Run live or recorded walkthroughs for onboarding phases.
• Support department leads by setting up Asana templates for their workflows.
• Troubleshoot simple user questions or system errors.
• Track training completion and report to the Volunteer Training Facilitator.

Skills Needed

• Strong understanding of Asana (free or paid versions).
• Clear communication and step-by-step teaching ability.
• Patience and organization.
• Basic understanding of volunteer operations or nonprofits is a plus.
