Join MRCI’s Forest Conservation Program on the biodiverse island of Nosy Komba, Madagascar. Volunteers support long-term ecological research by monitoring endangered species, conducting biodiversity surveys, and mapping forest health.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting flora and fauna surveys
Supporting lemur, bird, and reptile monitoring
Participating in invasive species removal and trail maintenance
Assisting with data collection and conservation outreach
Qualifications:
Interest in ecology, environmental science, or conservation
Basic physical fitness and ability to hike in tropical terrain
Willingness to work in remote conditions with a team
