    Description

Do you love science? Share your passion with students in Santa Clara!

Have you been looking for a way to make a big difference in a small amount of time? Consider volunteering with Science is Elementary (SiE).

SiE brings engaging science lessons to under-served classrooms once a month. Volunteers work with small groups of students to go through fun, hands-on experiments. You'll learn, you'll experience joy, and you'll make a difference in the lives of some amazing students.

We are looking for adults with a background in science or engineering who are interested in volunteering just two hours a month. Science is Elementary provides all lesson plans, materials, and training.

"It is very fulfilling that with very little I could be making a real impact in their lives." - Javier

"If I can inspire a few children to be excited about science, even if just for a day, that's awesome." - Carmen

"I enjoy doing the experiments as much as the kids do!" - Subash
