    About Bring Hope

    Bring Hope is a New Jersey-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals and families through behavioral health, wellness, and recovery support. We create safe spaces where clients can access life-changing resources, mental health services, and community-based programs designed to promote resilience and hope.

    Role Overview

    As a Grant Writer / Research Volunteer, you will play a critical role in advancing Bring Hope’s mission by helping secure funding to expand and enhance our programs. You will work closely with our Development Director and program staff to identify funding opportunities, research grant prospects, and draft compelling proposals. Your work will directly impact the lives of individuals and families seeking mental health support and wellness services.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research local, state, national, and private funding opportunities that align with Bring Hope’s mission.
    • Draft, edit, and proofread grant proposals and letters of inquiry.
    • Collect and compile program data, impact stories, and statistics to support proposals.
    • Assist in maintaining a grant calendar and tracking deadlines.
    • Collaborate with program staff to gather accurate information for funding requests.
    • Support post-award reporting requirements as needed.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Strong writing, editing, and research skills.
    • Interest in nonprofit development, behavioral health, or social services.
    • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Experience in grant writing or nonprofit fundraising is preferred but not required.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
