    Description

    Help plant native plants this fall!

    The City of Sammamish Parks and Recreation team hosts many restoration events throughout the year (typically 3-4x/month, some weekends and weekdays. Dates, times and locations vary.

    Volunteers have the opportunity to be involved in restoring degraded sites thru removal of invasive plant species and planting of beneficial native species.

    All upcoming opportunities are available on our volunteer portal. Volunteers will need to create an account in Galaxy and sign a waiver to be able to sign up to volunteer for any events.     Next 4 shifts available:

    Event registration closes 2-3 days before the event to allow for event prep, however if you miss the deadline, feel free to reach out to the event coordinator listed to see if there is still room.

    How to Apply

    Please apply via the Galaxy website. Volunteers will be required to complete a waiver (either via the galaxy website. Minors under 14 will need to have their parent guardian register them and complete a waiver for them.
