Amedisys Compassionate Care is putting together a team of creative folks to help us brighten the days of our hospice patients. Do you make crocheted shawls or lap robes? Do you make beautiful handmade cards and pictures? Do you like to sew pillows or teddy bears? Our patients and their families could certainly use a little beauty and comfort in their days. These would be specific projects for specific patients on an as needed basis.

If this is something that speaks to you please reach out, we would love to hear from you. Our volunteer coordinator will explain everything you need to know. There will be an onboarding process that requires as background check, driver's license and personal references. There is a bit of training, and all these things can be done from the comfort of your home. There are too many different projects to list here so if you have a creative superpower let us know and we can see how it fits with our program.
