    Volunteers Needed for Veteran Activities 89108

    Over 20% of the population in the United States are Veterans. At Uplift Hospice we believe in honoring those who have served. This can be in a variety of ways and we are actively recruiting volunteers to assist.

    Some examples of the activities are:

    • Sewing/Knitting/Crochet - Lap blankets for our Veterans, patriotic Teddy Bears for those in assited living or memory care units.
    • Veteran Pinning Ceremonies: Help pay tribute and honor those who have served by assisting with a Veteran Ceremony.
    • Special Events: We will both host and assist a variety of Veteran events as an indivudal hospice as well as a part of We Honor Veterans programs
