The Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) of Southern Nevada, Inc., (referred to as TIP), is a non-profit organization committed to supporting those in crisis. We currently have around 60 volunteers who respond to scenes of sudden or unexpected death, violent crimes, sexual assaults, vehicle fatalities, and other traumatic events, providing emotional and practical support to family, friends and witnesses directly on-scene. TIP volunteers respond when requested by local police, fire, medical and hospital personnel. TIP volunteers respond in most areas of Clark County, NV, 24/7/365 and have a response time of 30 minutes or less. TIP volunteers fulfill 3 - 13 hours "on-call" shifts per month (7a - 8p or 7p - 8a). TIP of Southern Nevada, Inc. responded to 1,948 calls for service in 2024 and assisted nearly 8,000 citizens in crisis!
