Every Thursday we receive donations varying from canned goods to frozen meat. We need help offloading our vehicle and then sorting all the items for dry and refrigerated storage. Please plan to arrive at 10:15am. We conclude approximately at 11:30am.
Later in the afternoon, around 5:30pm we begin to prepare our facility for the weekly distribution (see below). We set up tables with empty boxes and stock them full of non-perishable goods. Then Friday evening, at 6:30pm we continue arranging empty boxes ahead of time for the next morning's distribution (our main event for families in the San Gabriel Valley area).
Every Saturday morning we assemble the 30+lbs. of food into boxes for our clients to come pickup in a couple of hours. Donations are brought out from dry and cold storage, then placed into individual boxes. Some items are heavy (cases of cans) and others very light (box of potato chips). Please plan to arrive at 6:30AM. We conclude our distribution at 9:00AM. We ask you stay the entire time. Thank you.
