    Description

    Youth & Family Summit – Committee Lead Volunteer

    The Youth & Family Summit is a vibrant, community-rooted event that uplifts youth voice, family wellness, and collaborative action. As a Committee Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the event’s impact and flow.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead planning and coordination for a specific event zone (e.g., workshops, tech exhibit, wellness activities)
    • Reach out to community partners, collaborators, and local organizations
    • Support donor and funder engagement through storytelling and outreach
    • Guide volunteer onboarding and help shape a welcoming experience
    • Collaborate on signage, directional cues, and participant flow

    Qualifications:

    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Experience with outreach, event planning, or community engagement (formal or informal)
    • Ability to lead with empathy, clarity, and flexibility
    • Comfortable using digital tools (Google Forms, Canva, email, etc.)
    • Passion for youth empowerment and inclusive programming

    Time Commitment: 5-10 hours/week

    Location: Hybrid (Baltimore-based with virtual planning options)
