    Who We Are

At Creshendo, we believe that everyone deserves a chance to belong, rebuild, and rise. We co-create solutions with displaced communities—centering lived experiences, collaboration, and dignity at every step.

Fueled by empathy, integrity, and curiosity, we design innovative, community-led programs that support refugees and migrants in building self-reliance, advocacy skills, and pathways to integration. As a growing nonprofit, we value initiative, creativity, and people who are excited to help shape systems from the ground up.

    Why This Role Matters

Behind every impactful program is the funding that makes it possible. As a Fundraising & Development Volunteer, you help ensure Creshendo has the resources needed to sustain and grow programs that empower displaced communities worldwide.

Your contributions directly support program delivery, community partnerships, and long-term sustainability—turning vision into action and impact.

    What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll support Creshendo’s fundraising and development efforts by:

    • Researching potential funding opportunities, including foundations, corporations, and individual donors.
    • Supporting the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and donor outreach efforts.
    • Assisting with donor database management, contact tracking, and fundraising progress reports.
    • Helping draft outreach materials, donor communications, and campaign content.
    • Collaborating with leadership to strengthen fundraising systems and processes as the organization grows.

    What You Bring

You might be a great fit if you:

    • Have strong research, organization, and attention to detail.
    • Communicate clearly and professionally in writing and conversation.
    • Have an interest in nonprofit fundraising, development, or social impact work.
    • Are comfortable using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools.
    • Are motivated, self-directed, and excited to learn in a start-up environment.

Prior nonprofit experience is welcome but not required.

    What You’ll Gain

Joining Creshendo as a Fundraising & Development Volunteer means you’ll:

    • Gain hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising and donor development.
    • Build practical skills in research, campaign support, and development operations.
    • Work closely with leadership in a growing, mission-driven organization.
    • Expand your professional network within the nonprofit and philanthropic sector.
    • Receive a certificate of completion and a recommendation letter upon successful completion of your commitment.
    • Play a meaningful role in sustaining programs that support refugees and migrants worldwide.

Even if you don’t meet every qualification, if you’re eager to learn and passionate about social impact—we’d love to hear from you.

    How We Work

We operate with a G.Y.S.T. mindset: clarity over chaos, consistency over perfection, action over ego. If you follow through, communicate openly, and care about purpose-driven work—you’ll thrive here.
