Shop and Make Activity Care Bags: 3-5 Yrs

Any one of any age, any time, any where can volunteer to shop and make Activity Care Bags for children ages 3-5 years.

Activity Care Bags of fun, creative, and brain-stimulating games and activities help children in the hospital undergoing treatment for weeks and months, and their siblings, focus more on playing, creating, and having fun.

We welcome you to make and donate as many bags as you choose. Thank you for volunteering!

STEP 1:

Shop and fill each red drawstring bag with gender-neutral games and activities for children ages 3-5 years. Choose 3 or more items:

1 card game - Crazy 8s, Slap Jack, Go Fish, Hearts.

1game for 1 or 2 players (no batteries) - Tic Tac Toe, Barrel of Monkeys, Crocodile Dentist, Don’t Rock the Croc.

1 brain teaser - Seek and Find plush, Tangram puzzles, maze ball, memory match games.

1 mazes activity book, 2 pencils and 1 sharpener.

1 coloring book and 1 pack of crayons (12+).

STEP 2:

Neatly place the items into a red drawstring bag. Please ask for supplies of red drawstring bags.

STEP 3: (Optional)

Include a handwritten, decorated, There With Care printed note card in each bag. Please ask for supplies of printed note cards.

On the note card, write the name of your family, corporation/business, school or faith/community group.

Write one phrase: It’s playtime! Have fun! OR Bored today? It’s time to play!

Decorate with colorful designs.

Write your first name, age (minors only) and city.

PICK UP SUPPLIES/DROP OFF COMPLETED BAGS:

There With Care's office is located at the Sobrato Center for Nonprofits, There With Care, 330 Twin Dolphin Drive, Suite 135, Redwood City , CA 94065. Walk in anytime between 9:00am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday; an appointment is not required.
