Compassionate & Dedicated Volunteers Needed!!!

Ascend Hospice in Richmond, VA is looking for compassionate and dedicated companionship volunteers to share their time, talents, and compassion with terminally ill clients and their families. Qualified applicants will join a multidisciplinary team, receive training and supervision, and make a difference in an important chapter in peoples' lives. Opportunities are available to work with our clients in their private residences and at adult care facilities.

Volunteers provide active listening, companionship, light household support, and brief respite to those facing the challenges of end-of-life circumstances. They also participate in group activities that support the elderly and infirm residents of adult care and skilled nursing facilities.
