    Bronze Sculpture and Ceramics

    Sculpture and Fabrication Bronze and Clay -OPEN to applicants throughout USA and Canada.

    Join a one-of-a kind Buddhist sacred art projects at Odiyan Buddhist center. Live, work and learn within a long-standing Buddhist community. Those with prior experience in the trades are welcome to apply to offer their skills, and develop more.

    Artists needed for sculpture in red clay, bronze and concrete.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Metalwork -including welding and shaping
    • Clay - sculpting, firing, assembly
    • Foundry - creating bronze statues
    • Help with cooking, food preservation, and general kitchen support
    • Join in Buddhist classes and practice as part of daily life

    What You’ll Get:

    • Free vegetarian meals and beverages
    • Free shared housing (1 roommate) with large outdoor covered porch
    • $200 monthly stipend ($300 after 1 year)
    • Free Wi-Fi and domestic calls
    • Skill training and meaningful work experience
    • Daily connection to nature, fresh air, and sacred surroundings
    • Opportunities for Buddhist learning and personal growth
