    Description

    Welcome Formerly Unhoused Women Home

The Downtown Women's Center's Permanent Supportive Housing Program provides 119 units of comfortable, safe, and affordable housing without time limits as residents work towards personal stability. At DWC, we believe housing is a human right, and our first priority is to provide women with safe, permanent housing above all else. (Learn more about what we do HERE.)

Residence Host Volunteers provide a welcoming, supportive atmosphere in the lobby of DWC's permanent residences, welcoming and checking in with the women, signing for packages, answering the phone and door, and chatting with residents during downtime. This is a great fit if you want to work directly with our residents.

    What to expect:

    • Welcome residents and guests
    • Answering the phone and door
    • Signing for packages
    • Light administrative tasks

    What's Required:

    • Must be over the age of 18
    • Must complete New Volunteer Orientation

Shifts are available daily from 9am-12pm and 5pm-8pm.
