Big Sister

Big Sister is a role open to high school-aged girls. The big sisters will participate in our program “Big Sister, Little Sister,” where middle and high school girls are paired based on their interests and personalities. The high school girl takes on the role of a "big sister" to the middle school girl, giving their “little sister” companionship and guidance. The big sister prepares conversation topics and activities based on their shared interests. In return, the big sister gets one volunteer hour per 30-minute video call with their little sister. The sisters meet at least once a week and discuss scheduling to find a time that works best for them. Aside from individual benefits, the sisters learn from each other and gain an invaluable friendship!
