    Description

    The Grant Writer/Specialist will play a vital role in securing funding for TLCF’s programs by researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and government agencies. This role will work closely with leadership and program directors to craft compelling narratives that communicate the Foundation’s mission, impact, and funding needs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with TLCF’s mission
    • Write, edit, and submit grant proposals and letters of inquiry
    • Collaborate with leadership and program staff to gather program data and outcomes
    • Assist in developing grant budgets in coordination with the Finance Officer
    • Manage submission deadlines and reporting requirements
    • Maintain records of grant activity and funder communications

    Qualifications

    • Strong writing and editing skills
    • Interest in nonprofit fundraising and community impact
    • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Experience in grant writing or nonprofit work preferred, but not required
