    Description

    As a Hospice Plus volunteer, you can serve your community by visiting patients on care, either in their home or facility. Volunteers provide companionship, emotional/spiritual support, socialization, respite for caregivers, and much more! Vigil volunteers can bring much comfort to patients, and their families, by sitting bedside at end of life. Pet therapy can be offered by persons with licensed animals. Administrative volunteers assist with office duties, errands, and organization. Our Veteran Volunteers are vital to meeting the particular needs of our Veterans on service.

    *Students can earn credits through our program. Age range is 16 and up.

    Our Paris location serves 10 surrounding counties, including Lamar, Red River, Titus, Franklin, Wood, Hopkins, Camp, Morris, and Bowie.

    Requirements include a Background Check, Drug Screening, TB test, Onboarding/Training, and Interview. Current Driver's License and Car Insurance.
