    Description

Volunteer with Embracing Our Differences – Be Part of Something Inspiring!

    Who We Are:

Embracing Our Differences is a dynamic nonprofit organization based in Southwest Florida. We use the transformative power of art and education to celebrate individuality and promote mutual respect. Our annual juried art exhibition showcases thought-provoking artwork from around the world, creating powerful opportunities for community dialogue about acceptance, kindness, and inclusion. In addition to the exhibition, our educational programs provide thousands of students and educators with resources that build empathy, encourage critical thinking, and foster inclusive environments.

Mission: Through arts and education, we inspire kindness and respect.

Vision: A world where differences are embraced and valued.

    Why Volunteer?

By volunteering with Embracing Our Differences, you become part of a movement that believes in the power of creativity to change minds and hearts. Your support helps bring art and education together in meaningful ways—and creates ripples of impact throughout our community.

    Volunteer Opportunities Include:

      • Counting Visitors: Help track attendance and ensure everyone has a great experience at the exhibition.
      • Surveying Visitors: Collect valuable feedback to help us grow and improve the exhibition each year.
      • Supporting Grand Opening Celebrations: Lend a hand during one of our most exciting events of the year!
      • Preparing for Reading Days: Assist with organizing materials and logistics for our educational reading events.
      • Volunteering as a Reader: Read to K-3 students in south St. Pete elementary schools
