    Description

    Resident Activity Volunteer
    • Skills Needed:
      • Love and appreciation for older or disabled adults
      • Patient, encouraging, and enthusiastic attitude
      • Willingness to maintain confidentiality
      • Respect for people of different backgrounds
    • Duties:
      • Lead and assist groups of residents in various activities such as:
        • Bingo
        • Sing-Alongs
        • Balloon Volleyball
        • Games
        • Trivia
        • Wii
        • Crossword Puzzles
        • News/Current Events
        • Inspirational Readings
      • Report time spent on volunteer service to Community Outreach Coordinator
    • Location of Duties:
      • Sharon Towers
    • Time Required:
      • 1 - 2 hours per visit. Will work with your schedule.
    • Training / Preparation:
      • Orientation and training provided by Community Outreach Coordinator
