    About Us:

    The Donovan’s Venom is a 501c3 nonprofit organization focused on curating universal accessibility to fine arts and music education for all. We are passionately dedicated to ensuring that everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, has access to high-quality music education, performance opportunities, and fine art. We aim to inspire, empower, and uplift communities by fostering a love for music and the arts through our commitment to education, inclusivity, diversity, and social impact, which drives us to expand our reach continually and enrich the lives of those we serve.

    We’re looking for a Head of Human Resources to join our growing team!

    What you’ll do:

    • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives
    • Provide guidance on HR initiatives, including talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and diversity and inclusion
    • Oversee the recruitment and hiring process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection
    • Develop innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent to the organization
    • Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for employees
    • Handle employee relations issues, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and consistent manner
    • Promote a positive work culture and resolve workplace issues proactively
    • Establish HR metrics and analytics to measure and track key HR indicators, such as employee engagement, turnover, and diversity metrics

    What we’re looking for:

    • 3+ years experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably in the nonprofit sector
    • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory compliance
    • Possession of excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees, managers, and stakeholders
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
    • HR related Certification
