    Description

    Soleil Hospice is seeking compassionate volunteers to provide companionship and comfort to hospice patients through the presence of friendly, well-behaved pets. Many patients in hospice care experience isolation and anxiety; the simple act of spending time with a gentle animal can bring immense joy, peace, and emotional support.

    As a Pet Companion Volunteer, you and your certified therapy animal will visit patients in their homes, hospice facilities, or nursing homes. Visits are coordinated based on the volunteer’s schedule and patient needs.
