As a General Services Coordinator, you'll help refugee and immigrant families, mostly African adults and children, access daily necessities through Unite Us, email, and phone outreach. You'll identify sources for food, clothing, and essential supplies, connecting clients with personal shoppers when needed. Collaboration with the Transportation Coordinator ensures clients can physically reach services. You'll maintain detailed records of family needs and demographics for our Data scientists, and participate in public events to highlight gaps in basic services throughout the city.
Please answer all short questions. You should have experience or interest in connecting people with community resources and tracking family needs. If not, please tell us why you want to develop these coordination skills! Our team has PhD students and experienced coordinators who can guide you in identifying community resources, working with service providers, and documenting client needs effectively. You MUST have a CV/Resume to get accepted.
