    Description

Help a child succeed in school. Volunteer In Paradise

The mission of the Volunteer In Paradise program is to raise student achievement; the data shows that we are fulfilling our mission. Students who received tutoring from our VIPs showed much greater academic growth than non-tutored students. These results are just one reason the program has been certified by Points of Light in June of 2021 as a Service Enterprise, received a Golden Bell Award from the Arizona School Boards Association in 2017 and a First Place Magna Award from the National School Board Association in 2015.

You, too, can make a difference by giving as little as one hour per week to tutor and to serve as a caring role model. You will provide valuable assistance to our teachers and become part of a school community. Support and training for volunteers is ongoing.
