    Description

    Crocheting Volunteer or Yarn Donations Wanted

    Volunteer your time crocheting hats, scarfs, mittens, lap blankets or etc., from the comfort of your home and during your own schedule! Canyon offers a flexible schedule all while making a difference for our patients who are on hospice. We would love to onboard you, and have you complete an orientation to get started!

    OR

    Donate your unused crocheting materials to provide handmade gifts to Canyon Home Care & Hospice patients! With the cold season approaching fast, any unused supplies can be made into beautiful creations. You can drop it off at our main office in South Ogden, or our Volunteer Coordinator can meet you!

    Canyon Home Care and Hospice does require all volunteers to pass a background check, get fingerprints (if applicable), get a TB test done, and complete a hospice volunteer training.

    How to Volunteer for This Opportunity

    Reach out to schedule an in-person or online orientation. Complete onboarding material, get a TB test (Canyon provides a free / no cost test) , background check, fingerprints (if applicable), and hospice volunteer training.

    Volunteers must be 18 years or older! There are no special requirements for Donators.
