The Tabling Lead serves as the main point of contact between the Conservancy and local event organizers and volunteers. They coordinate logistics for setting up outreach tables at community events and help ensure our volunteers have everything they need to represent the organization effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Reach out to and maintain communication with event organizers to secure booth or table space.
- Track upcoming community events and identify new outreach opportunities.
- Coordinate logistics (arrival time, parking, booth location, etc.) for volunteers staffing the table.
- Ensure volunteers have necessary supplies (banner, brochures, membership forms, donation jar, etc.) for the event.
- Work with staff to keep outreach materials stocked and up-to-date.
- Provide feedback after events and suggest improvements for future tabling opportunities.
Time Commitment
Varies, with hours ranging 6-12 hours per month
Occasional weekend or evening availability required.
Skills & Qualities
- Organized self-starter with strong communication skills.
- Comfortable reaching out to event organizers by phone and email.
- Ability to manage details and deadlines.
- Interest in conservation, community engagement, or education is a plus.
- Comfortable working with diverse volunteers.
