Social Media Coordinator

Are you creative, organized, and passionate about animal rescue? I am looking for a volunteer to help grow and manage the social media presence of From Foster to Forever.

About Me

I am a foster mom who primarily takes in puppies and kittens. I partner with a couple of local rescues and focus on giving these little ones a safe, loving space until they find their forever homes. I am still small and grassroots, but I have big dreams of growing this foster page and helping more animals along the way.

While I am comfortable caring for animals, I will be the first to admit I do not really know what I am doing when it comes to social media. I currently have Facebook, Instagram, and a Linktree set up, but I need help managing them effectively and building engagement.

About the Role

I am looking for someone who can help take ownership of the social side of things. This would include:

• Creating and scheduling engaging posts

• Writing fun and heartwarming foster sneak peek posts

• Crafting creative introductions with engaging bios for new fosters

• Posting adoption updates and success stories

• Sharing foster and rescue fun facts during slower seasons when I do not have animals in care

• Helping with engagement strategies to grow followers

• Brainstorming interactive content such as polls, questions, and other ideas to build community

I will always do my best to provide you with photos, videos, and background information. I just need someone who can turn that into engaging, consistent content and help pick up the pace.

Ideal Volunteer

• Loves animals and believes in rescue work

• Has experience with or interest in social media management

• Enjoys writing creative captions and telling stories

• Comfortable with Facebook and Instagram

• Self motivated and able to post consistently

• Excited about helping a small foster page grow

Time Commitment

Flexible and remote. A few hours per week would make a big difference. I already have someone who helps when she can, but she works full time and has limited availability. I would love to build a small team or find someone who can help more consistently.

Growing From Foster to Forever means more visibility for adoptable puppies and kittens, more potential adopters, and ultimately more lives saved. This is a small operation with a big heart, and I am excited to see where it can go with the right help.
