    About Mentor A Promise

Mentor A Promise (MAP) is a New York City–based nonprofit serving children and youth ages 5–18 experiencing housing instability through mentorship, literacy, education, social-emotional learning (SEL), creative expression, housing innovation, and community-based programs. MAP’s storytelling and communications work exists to build trust, amplify dignity, and responsibly connect communities, partners, and supporters to the realities and strengths of the families we serve.

About PromiseStories | Marketing, Communications & Brand Strategy

PromiseStories is MAP’s storytelling, marketing, and communications division. It ensures that all outward-facing messaging—marketing, campaigns, brand identity, and public narratives—is ethical, trauma-informed, accessible, and aligned with MAP’s mission and values.

Marketing within PromiseStories is not promotional for its own sake. It is relationship-building, trust-centered, and impact-driven.
