    Project Details

    Share stories of hope and impact! Save the Family works with families experiencing homelessness in Maricopa County, providing housing, case management, and supportive services. Our social media volunteer will help raise awareness, showcase program successes, and connect our community with opportunities to make a difference.

    Volunteer Summary: We are looking for creative, organized volunteers to help manage and grow Save the Family’s social media presence. In this role, you will support content creation, scheduling, and engagement to share our mission and the families we serve, and highlight our programs’ impact. Your contributions will help the community see the difference they make and inspire action.

    Schedule: Flexible; 1–3 days per week, 2–4 hours per day. Remote work possible.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Content Creation: Assist in drafting social media posts, graphics, and captions that highlight program impact and stories of families.
    • Scheduling & Posting: Help plan and schedule posts across social media platforms using tools like Meta Business Suite or Canva.
    • Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments or messages.
    • Reporting & Analytics: Track basic metrics (likes, shares, engagement) to help the team understand what content resonates with the community.
    • Support Communications: Collaborate with the Philanthropy team to ensure messaging aligns with Save the Family’s mission and campaigns.

    Qualifications:

    • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
    • Basic graphic design or video editing skills a plus (Canva, stories, etc.).
    • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
