PPE Kids (Protect. Prevent. Empower.), a Black, woman-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is seeking a trauma-informed child development expert to join our Board of Directors. This is an unpaid, volunteer position ideal for someone who wants to use their clinical or academic expertise to protect children and shape prevention policy.

🎯 We’re looking for:

✔️ Licensed child psychiatrist, psychologist, or LCSW

✔️ Pediatric trauma or ACEs specialist

✔️ Researcher in child development or neurodivergence

✔️ Survivor-informed professionals with a healing-centered lens

As a board member, you’ll:

• • Review and guide trauma-informed training materials
  • Strengthen public messaging and community education
  • Advise on curriculum for churches, schools, and parents
  • Help us expand nationally and internationally
