    Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Finance Manager to oversee the financial health of our organization. The Finance Manager will manage accounting functions, develop and monitor budgets, support program and service financing, and provide accurate financial forecasting to guide organizational decision-making. This role is integral to ensuring the long-term sustainability of our programs and services.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations.
    • Develop, implement, and monitor annual budgets in collaboration with leadership and program managers.
    • Oversee grant, donor, and program-specific financial tracking to ensure compliance with non-profit reporting requirements.
    • Prepare and present financial reports for leadership and the Board of Directors.
    • Provide financial forecasting and cash flow analysis to support strategic planning and sustainability.
    • Ensure compliance with all non-profit accounting standards, audit requirements, and federal/state regulations.
    • Recommend financial strategies to improve efficiency and resource allocation.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA preferred.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting or financial management, preferably within a non-profit organization.
    • Strong knowledge of non-profit financial management, including restricted/unrestricted funds and grant reporting.
    • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
    • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
    • Commitment to the mission of empowering women and supporting community-based initiatives.
