    Description

Be There When It Matters Most As A Friendly Visitor To A Hospice Patient

Some people at the end of life don’t need more medicine.

They need a gentle presence. A listening ear. A hand to hold.

    They need someone.

Hospice companionship volunteers offer one of the most meaningful gifts there is: time.

By simply sitting with a patient, sharing conversation, reading aloud, listening to memories, or providing quiet comfort, you help ensure that no one feels alone during one of life’s most tender moments.

    You don’t need medical experience.

You don’t need the perfect words.

You just need compassion, patience, and a willingness to show up.

Volunteering as a hospice companion can be deeply moving, unexpectedly beautiful, and truly life-changing—for both the patient and you.

If you have a caring heart and a little time to give, we would be honored to have you join us.

Your presence can bring comfort. Your time can bring peace.
