Facilitate games and help families turn wildfire anxiety into action!

Creative Crisis Leadership has developed a unique, 15-minute interactive board game that helps families think about how they could navigate the realities of a wildfire — spinning the "Wheel of Fate" to find out what challenges they face, from sudden evacuation to returning home to a damaged neighborhood. Instead of traditional brochures, we use gameplay to spark vital conversations and empower community members to prepare to face a wildfire.

We are looking for energetic fun-loving volunteers to help us bring this experience to the community at several high-impact local festivals and fairs this spring.

Upcoming Event Schedule:

• March 7: Steelhead Festival (Lake Sonoma Recreation Area)
• April 26: Sonoma County Wildfire & Earthquake Expo (Santa Rosa)
• May 2: Solano County Preparedness Fair (location TBD — possibly Lake Solano County Park)

What We Provide:

• Training: No prior "expert" knowledge needed: we’ll teach you everything you need to know about the game.
• Travel support: We reimburse mileage, plus lodging and meals if the event is more than 50 miles from your home.
• Meaningful engagement: A chance to meet your neighbors and provide a service that truly saves lives.

Bonus Skills: We would love to find Spanish speakers to join the team! Being able to facilitate the game in Spanish significantly increases our impact and ensures we reach the whole community.
