    Description

    Position: Outreach Coordinator

    Commitment: average ~3-5 hours per week (and 2-3 more hours depending on if there's an event that week)

    Overview:

    Inclusive World is seeking a dedicated and organized Outreach Coordinator to help expand our community engagement through booth events. This role involves identifying outreach opportunities, coordinating logistics, and ensuring effective communication with volunteers, team members, and leads.

    Responsibilities:

    • Event Research & Relationship Building:
      • Identify relevant community events for Inclusive World to participate in.
      • Build and maintain connections with event organizers to secure booth opportunities.
    • Organizational & Time Management:
      • Set and manage calendar of events and deadlines effectively to ensure smooth booth event planning.
      • Balance multiple tasks (e.g., receiving sign-ups, coordinate booth box drop off/pick up, communicate with leads and members who may have questions) while maintaining attention to detail.
    • Commitment & Availability:
      • Devote approximately 3-5 hours per week based on booth event schedules.
      • Expect increased hours during event weeks to accommodate additional communication needs. Some weeks may be much less of a commitment over others.
    • Volunteer & Team Communication:
      • Volunteer at outreach events alongside other volunteers, be an ambassador for Inclusive World
      • Coordinate with volunteers who sign up for events, send timely reminders, and provide necessary information.
      • Ensure booth volunteers complete post-event questionnaires, upload photos and document event details.
      • Update Wrike with event photos and descriptions.
      • Work closely with the social media and newsletter team to share event highlights.
    • Sign-Up Sheet Management:
      • Utilize existing Excel templates to create sign-up sheets for volunteers.
      • Ensure accurate record-keeping for event participation.

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
    • Highly organized with excellent time management abilities.
    • Clear and professional communication skills.
    • Comfortable using/learning more about Excel, Wrike, and coordinating with multiple teams.
    • Passion for community engagement and Inclusive World’s mission.
    • Preferably located in the bayarea.
