LiteracyCNY is looking for dedicated Spanish-speaking volunteers to help adults in the City of Syracuse learn essential computer, smartphone, and tablet skills. In partnership with Syracuse Housing Authority (SHA), LiteracyCNY schedules sessions for Digital Literacy Volunteers to work with residents to develop their digital skills. SHA serves hundreds of spanish speakers who struggle with English. Your ability to communicate in both English and Spanish will make a significant impact in helping SHA residents over come communication barriers to digital literacy. Drop-in sessions are located in public spaces such as community rooms and computer labs. LiteracyCNY volunteers do not enter private homes.
