    Assistance Center Appointment Scheduler

    Position Overview: The Assistance Center Scheduler is a crucial volunteer role that involves managing the scheduling and coordination of appointments in a busy office environment. The scheduler will interact with clients and staff, ensuring that all appointments are handled efficiently and courteously. This role requires training on Charity Tracker software, Google Sheets, and general office procedures.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Scheduling Appointments: Coordinate and manage client appointments using Charity Tracker software, ensuring efficient use of resources.
    • Telephone Communication: Answer and manage four incoming phone lines, providing courteous and helpful responses to clients and staff.
    • Data Management: Maintain accurate records in Google Sheets and other filing systems, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accessible.
    • Filing: Organize and maintain both digital and physical filing systems, ensuring easy retrieval of important documents.
    • Multi-Tasking: Handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
    • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and bend as needed for filing and other office tasks.

    Qualifications:

    • Office Skills: Familiarity with general office procedures, including filing and managing phone lines.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills, with a focus on courtesy and professionalism.
    • Multi-Tasking Ability: Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
